Shanghai (and Nina) here I come…

Needless to say that a weekend trip to Shanghai, without husband and kids, to visit a dear friend is bound to be great…I still am not a fan of Shanghai, somehow it never ‘clicked’. But it is surely something else to be there with a friend and just walk around and enjoy. A few days with lots of chats, laughs, sightseeing, walking and just enjoying!

So I wont add much to this but leave you with some impressions.

Encounter with monkeys at Mac Ritchie

Believe it or not, but Singapore is not all about Shopping!

There are lovely outdoor parks and Resevoirs. One great one has to be the MacRitchie Reserve.

Nice rainforest walks – good to get the kids into the nature for a bit, especially while living the city live! Great place to let them pick leaves, stones, get dirty, play with water, see birds, dragon flies, etc! And if the kids get tired … they will surely get awake and alert again on the walkway along the water – Monkeys are a close encounter here!

Just make sure to not have any food in your hand! 😉
